Taxify is one of the fastest growing startups in the world with over 5M happy customers in 25 countries, from Europe to Mexico to Africa. We build a smartphone app to take safe and fast rides – all at the tap of a button.

Now armed with a fresh round of funding we are growing 20-30% MoM and we are eager to continue our expansion. We are looking for a Country Manager for Mexico. This means an exciting journey of scaling our operations to all the major cities in the country and define our strategy on a national level, overseeing the operations in all of our local markets.

COUNTRY MANAGER - MEXICO

You will:

Lead the expansion of Taxify to new cities in Mexico
Manage local regulatory issues and local politics within the transport and tech industry
Define and implement and optimize operational processes and procedures
Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist city-level, regional, and expansion efforts, and make data-driven decisions
Develop strategic business partnerships with various stakeholders of the country
Have close interaction with government officials at council, state and national level
Execute local marketing campaigns and events, generating the loudest buzz in town
Help us with the expansion to the rest of Latin America

We really want you to:

Have 5+ years operational management or general management experience
Experience in sharing economy, Internet business, transport industry, startup or dynamic high-growth company a strong plus
Have a data-driven analytical mindset (advanced Excel skills)
Be a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day
Have a BA in economics, finance or other analytical subject
Be passionate about new technology and ridesharing
Have an excellent Spanish and English level
